7.0The service was great and the staff were very pleasant.
− At £400 a night this seemed extremely overpriced. We've come to expect far more for our money outside of Edinburgh.
Exceptional!
10.0The most exceptional hotel, the height of luxury in a perfect central location. The rooms were gorgeous we stayed in the suites on the 4th floor which had split level living and sleeping area. The beds were very comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Joseph who greeted us every time we arrived and left the hotel he was brilliant making us feel right at home and he could offer directions or helpful recommendations. I cannot wait to return!!

Misleading Air Conditioning Information During a Hot Stay
6.0I was disappointed to discover that the hotel advertises air conditioning as an amenity, but our room did not have it. When I asked the staff, I was informed that only certain rooms include air conditioning. If that is the case, the hotel should make this clear in the room descriptions rather than listing it as a general hotel amenity. Under normal circumstances, this may not have been a major issue. However, we stayed during an unusually hot week, and the lack of air conditioning made the room quite uncomfortable and significantly impacted our experience. The property itself has many positives, but transparency regarding room amenities is important. Guests should know exactly what they are booking so they can make an informed decision, especially during warmer months.
