Avoid any property managed by Blue Mountains Escapes

The property was perfectly fine, it was the third party management company you should avoid at all costs. They will rip you off. See below.

− The accommodation was fine but trip ruined by one of the worst third party management companies I have ever encountered. I strongly advise anyone looking to stay in the Blue Mountains to avoid any dealings with Blue Mountains Escapes. This company is set up to gouge you for profit. Their call centre is in the Philippines which always means they don’t care about local jobs, just maximising profit. It also means they get a lot of complaints and they farm it out for people on the other side of the world to not deal with. I booked via Booking.com and yet they were on me straight away to circumvent that company’s terms and conditions by imposing their own and crucially gaining your credit card details separately to booking.com. Always a red flag. As you can see from other customers, these terms and conditions set you up for being gauged for more cash during your stay. Have no doubt they will be into you for anything. $100 charge because you put a spoon in the fork tray. Not only that, they charge an illegal fee on the charge when they extract funds from your credit card and you feel like you are being mugged. This place illegally overcharged me and they will not make a refund. Unfortunately, this company is money grabbing scum at its worst. You have been warned. Go elsewhere or they will fleece you of your hard earned cash and make you feel pure anger during the entire process, that is, if the nightmarish micromanagement before you arrive hasn’t given you enough red flags to quit the booking and go elsewhere. That said, I have no doubt, if you cancel, they will help themselves to your money anyway. Best advice is to avoid this company and all the properties it manages like the plague as, almost certainly, you will feel like you caught the plague after dealing with them.

We loved the spacious rooms and the coziness you were met with from the moment you walked through the door . This place had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The area was so peaceful and a great location . It’s not often you find accommodation that has 4 big bedrooms and 4 bathrooms to go with it . With two spacious indoor living rooms to relax with friends and chat about old times this was the perfect getaway .
