The view was pleasant

− There were several things that bothered me about renting from here. It was very difficult to pay for the room if you are not from Chile. The website would not accept any of my credit cards because I was not using a Chilean payment form. I had credit cards from the United States. I don't know how they except to attract tourists from outside of Chile if the payment process is this difficult. In the end, I had to ask a family member to pay for the room since they had a Chilean banking card. I paid over $500 US dollars for two nights. If you are paying this amount of money, you would expect that everything would be included. It was not. I had to pay additional money for them to provide bedsheets. There were no paper towels in the kitchen and the apartment was in need of upgrades. And finally, when they did the final inspection of me checking out, the only thing they wanted to check was if I used the propane gas for the BBQ grill. This was insane. For the amount of money, its not worth staying here. The facilities around the apartment such as restaurants were a joke. I was denied service a few times because the kitchen was not open due to low tourists coming to visit. When I went to rent a kayak to bring into the large pool, the two punk kids told me to come back because they were eating their lunch. I will skip this town on my next visit. Go to Pucon or North Chile, the views are amazing compared to here.
