− Needs more lighting in the kitchen. Stairs are steep so a railing would be good.

A wonderful apartment in a super location
9.0We really liked the location, it was an easy walk to the front of the lake. There was a little supermarket that we used during our stay, that was very close to the apartment. We used the pool , it was a particularly hot day and so this was wonderful to have the use of this. The balcony view was breath taking and their was plenty of room for two people. The apartment is a very short walk from the local train station and also the ferry and some wonderful bars and places to eat. The apartment was light and bright and very clean. I cannot really comment on the host as we only met them very briefly as we were leaving at the door but he seemed very friendly.
− I would have paid more to have a welcome breakfast basket as we arrived late from England and had a long journey . It would have been nice to maybe have some milk . We didn't use the coffee machine as we found it too complicated but perhaps that is our fault. Also , when we sat around the pool it would have been nice to have some plastic glasses to use around the pool. We had used the glasses from the room but were conscious that glass could be a problem in a pool area.
Great property short walking distance from the Varenna lake front with a super helpful host!
8.0Great location in walking distance from the lake front in Varenna! Elevator was helpful with lots of luggage, and host was super responsive and helpful throughout.
− A few mold/mildew marks in shower, slight lack of simple amenities (e.g. paper towels), not enough places to hang used towels, open/steep stairs were tricky with toddler, would have appreciated more water bottles or a water filter for refilling our own bottles, ants were a slight nuisance.
