A beautiful oasis in the Sicilian countryside
9.0We had a wonderful stay at Olive Alive, the setting is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lovely grounds with a fantastic swimming pool that is perfect for relaxing while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay, warm, welcoming, and always happy to help, which really made a difference. One of the highlights was the breakfast. which was not expected , It was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high quality options.
− A couple of small observations: the wellness aspect of the hotel doesn’t seem to be promoted very much and, in our opinion, isn’t really necessary given how attractive the hotel and grounds already are. We also felt that some of the furniture in our room, in particular the bed and wardrobe could be a little more stylish to better reflect the otherwise beautiful setting. Additionally, midges and mosquitoes were a bit of an issue during our stay—obviously not the hotel’s fault, but something to be aware of. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Olive Alive to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a stunning location with excellent hospitality.

− There were water issues on the premise but the staff fixed us with a new room immediately.

10.0Beautiful location, the hotel is small and authentic. Italo and his team are always ready to help, recommend and have a chat. The on site breakfasts and dinners are small and intimate, we loved meeting some interesting and like minded fellow travellers. The food was home made and delicious (thank you to Amanda for the desserts) . All round an exceptional spot to enjoy Noto and surrounds.

10.0The property at Tenuta Olive Alive was just beautiful — villas spread apart so well that you hardly see anyone else. Surrounded by olive, fig, lime, and walnut trees, it felt peaceful and private. The homemade Dinner was stunning. The pasta Norman was on a whole different level, honestly way better than a highly rated restaurant we tried in Noto. Everything was clearly crafted with care. A true gem, and one I’d go back to in a heartbeat.
