7.0The property was well located for our needs with easy parking and a great outlook. The room looks as it does in the photos; it is dark as the only big “windows” are the balcony doors to the front but given our short overnight stay, that wasn’t a problem for us. The bed/bedding was good as was the wifi. There is no aircon but there is an overhead fan which worked okay to keep us cool enough during the night. The host was very friendly and helpful when needed.
− We booked the deluxe suite for an overnight stay because of the kitchenette. Unfortunately however it was not stocked with what we had come to expect a holiday room kitchenette to have; there was a stovetop, kettle and small fridge as we had expected but (other than for a burnt pan/some basic cutlery, one plate and a few glasses) there were no plates/bowls/mugs/spoons/kitchen utensils/pans etc. rendering the kitchenette useless for us. If you are not travelling (as we weren’t) with these essentials this is a problem. Thankfully the host was able to provide us with some basics when asked. Also the shower is a hand held one over a very high bath (it could be a problem for some to get in/out of) and it was almost impossible not to wet the whole bathroom when showering. And although a slightly later check-out was agreed on arrival, as another booking had come in we had a knock on the door before the agreed check-out time the next morning which we found a bit annoying.

10.0The host graciously upgraded our room and provided a complimentary bottle of wine after hearing of my engagement. She brought us a great breakfast every morning, and the view from our balcony was stunning. The bed was VERY comfortable, especially for a European hotel, and we loved every second of our stay.
