Boutique accomodation in the West Sussex countryside.
9.0A beautiful old stone built pub building. Stunning countryside views out the back. Accomodation are large and private boutique style. Wonderful restaurant with a great selection of fresh local produce food and drink on the menu. Comfortable large beds. Clean and well presented rooms. Private garden area to each room with stunning views of countryside and beyond. Location very accessible to nearby attractions and many places of interest. Fabulous walks, some starting from the pub. Plenty of free parking. Host and staff friendly, proffesional and helpful if needed.
− Even though in the middle of beautiful countryside, the historical building is opposite a scrap yard that seems to operate most of the night with heavy machinery and large lorry movements. The road at the front is a commuter rat run during the week with vehicles driving at speed. Wasp invation in pub garden.

We had a lovely stay in this beautifully presented pub / restaurant and hotel.
10.0A lovely find in a very rural part of the country. There’s a great bar and restaurant looking out over the countryside (we saw deer and hot air balloons while we were having dinner). The room was quite small but beautifully presented with everything we needed (although the fresh milk didn’t last long in the heatwave!) and the home-made biscuits were delicious. There’s plenty of parking too 👍

8.0Good location, on a busy road but quiet at night. Lovely views over towards the South Downs. Great garden with glass terrace which could be closed if required. Great breakfast.
