I highly recommend the La Nuova Girgenti Bed and Breakfast.
9.0There are a number of bed and breakfast facilities in the area. The location was just a block from a set of stairs that is limited to people. It is a nice feature because the traffic is very busy, it seems to be an Italy thing. The neighborhood was clean and safe. Other areas in old town Agrigento are not as nice. Traffic is a constant in Italy. I especially liked that my room was on the first floor. It saved to challenge of carrying luggage up the stairs. Every morning I received an amazing buongiorno from both Guisy and Peri. The morning breakfast was the perfect amount. Guisy and Peri were also extremely helpful with getting taxi service and setting me up for my departing bus travels. It was a wonderful experience and time. Oh and I had an expresso making in my room, a wonderful treat!
