The area felt safe + cheap price

− When I arrived, the door to my room was already open and there were someone else's bags inside. When I asked for an explanation, I received a vague response that I cannot even remember because it made so little sense. The host simply removed the bags and left them outside on the porch as if this was completely normal. They were also unprepared for my arrival. They were surprised when I arrived, even though I had messaged in advance with my expected arrival time and sent another message on the day to let them know I had left the airport and was on my way and they had always acknowledged my messages (and for context they have 4 rooms in total, it shouldn't be that difficult to know who's arriving). It was very awkward. Another issue was that to me, it looked like I was not given the room I had booked. When I questioned it, they insisted it was my room. Now I understand: the pictures listed on booking.com are embellished and mixed , honestly they create expectations that the room doesn't meet. The room itself was also poorly kept. The lighting is so poor that in the evenings I had to use the torch on my phone just to find things in my suitcase. The bedsheets had stains, the mosquito net was yellowed and stained, the bathroom was far from clean. I had booked a rate that included breakfast, yet breakfast was never offered during my stay. On the first day I told them I was going out and didn't need it, in the following 2 days they didn't bother to offer. I had made other arrangements for breakfast as I was meeting some friends in the area. But, long short story I never had breakfast here nor it was offered. Looking again at the Booking.com listing, I also noticed that they say they have high-speed internet, but nobody mentioned it to me. Several of the amenities listed on the property profile were either unavailable or never provided during my stay. I wouldn't recommend staying here based on my experience.

− Siamo arrivati e la struttura non rispecchia nessuna delle foto di Booking, e non riesco a comprendere come possa avere questo punteggio! Avevamo comunicato il nostro orario di arrivo, ci siamo presentati con 40 minuti di anticipo circa e la camera ancora non era pronta, abbiamo chiesto un phon e dentro aveva le ragnatele, siamo entrati nella stanza e oltre a essere estremamente buia, le lenzuola erano bucate e sporche, non c’era nessun prodotto da bagno neanche una saponetta per le mani, un asciugamano era bagnato e puzzolente mentre l’altro era tutto macchie. Se non chiusa a chiave la porta non si chiudeva e anche da chiusa ai lati era piena di spifferi…come se non bastasse le scimmie saltavano e correvano sul tetto rendendo impossibile la permanenza. Inutile dire che dopo un’ora abbiamo lasciato la struttura

Nous avons fait 3 nuits et n'avons que 2 regrets. Le premier est de ne pas avoir pu rester plus longtemps et le second est de ne pas avoir eu le temps de prendre un cours de cuisine. La chambre est simple mais très bien pour le prix. Celui qui s'en plaint devrait se remettre en question. L'acceuil est exceptionnel et alors le rice and curry. Ne pensez même pas à aller manger en ville, ce serait une erreur. Ce fut l'un des meilleurs du voyage et certainement le plus beau. Nous avons également fait le safari organisé avec l'hébergement et c'était tout simplement parfait. La Jeep comme le chauffeur. Foncez, nous on a adoré.

Loved it here, staying another night. It’s a homestay so it’s very homey of course. It’s tucked away, very quiet, beautiful walk around the neighbourhood. Everyone is very happy to chat, wave and smile. Highly recommend the cooking class. Highly recommend staying here.
