10.0It's right in the town centre. Only walking distance from the motel
− Not a proper kitchen, no extractor to extract smoke from the room, cooking utensils need to replace for a better one, shower room drainage was flowing slowly out the shower floor.
I'd choose somewhere else next time.
5.0This place is actually the old ministry of works accommodations from decades ago when the dams were built. Separate buildings spread out on a grassy area with not much in the way of gardens. Each building has a long dark corridor down the middle with rooms off each side of it. Although it is very clean, it hasn't been updated and doesn't have a holiday vibe at all. It is purely functional, and as one of the cheaper options in Twizel, I guess it is OK value for money, as long as you don't intend to spend much time there.

7.0Location is the best in town, beds were good , room was satisfactory for the money and very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
− Shower was a little hard to adjust temperature
