Everyone was very friendly and the carriage house was great, quiet!

10.0The breakfast both days was delightful- nice portions (not too much) and combinations. The sweet treat at the end was perfect for sipping tea on the porch. 👍 The dining room was quaint, and it was pleasant to hear the kitchen staff talking and preparing the food.

Not as advertised, and disappointing
4.0The Wainwright Inn is okay, but not what you see advertised on travel and booking websites. The photos on those sites bear little resemblance to the actual inn. And I'm surprised it gets rave reviews. It looks like it hasn't had a paint job in 30 years, and when we told the proprietor that the air conditioning wasn't working, he said, "yes, it is."It wasn't and he later fixed it. Breakfast was fine, but overall, a disappointment.
