8.0Our welcome was very hospitable. Our bedroom (No 1) was smaller than the typical hotel king size bedroom but nevertheless very comfortable, plenty of storage and well equipped with a recently refurbished bathroom en suite. Breakfast was OK though we did have to forage for items in the fridge , cutlery etc. No lounge facility dedicated for guests in the main house but unusual and pleasant bar/tv area in separate outbuilding a short walk away. Located in residential area but close to centre of town. Adequate parking area. All in all good value for money.

10.0Clean and comfortable room and the hotel is set in a quiet location near the town centre. Will and Chess are charming hosts and were very friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. Nice little bar also offering a good selection of food. Nice breakfast too. I highly recommend this place.
