10.0Gljúfurbústaðir is a lovely place, perfectly positioned for exploring the South Coast or doing the Golden Circle. Very spacious. Hot tub a nice bonus. Not a big deal, but the hot water smells strongly of sulphur (low carbon footprint!).

10.0This delightful A-frame cottage was perfectly located for exploring the South Coast while still being within an hour or so of Reykjavik & the airport. All of the cozy touches of quilts, wall-hangings, couch pillows, etc. made the space feel like our family belonged there. There was plenty of privacy but we didn't feel isolated. We could see both mountains and the ocean from our windows. It's obvious the hosts/owners really want their guests to feel welcome and informed. It was easy to get into Selfoss for dinner or shopping, and also to get to the great little village of Hveragerdi. I can see why it would be a hit even in winter.

6.0The cabin was warm and cosy, but there was no space to keep our luggage and the cabin had no closets. No bathing soap was provided and no garbage bags, The hot tub is a plus. Over all enjoyed our stay at the cabin.
