Heerlijk
9.0De locatie en super vriendelijke mensen.
− Niets
fijne ervaring
8.0Prachtige historische locatie en je logeert in historisch erfgoed. De kamers zijn klaar en erg basic. Maar dat hoort er eigenlijk ook wel bij.
Not what we expected… very basic
3.0The Manor House, grounds & garden
− Felt very vulnerable and unsafe at the property as no staff and no night porter on duty on Monday night. We were a group of 3 women left exposed at the property. This was not mentioned when booking the accommodation. We considered packing up and leaving because of this but decided to stay. The location was a Quaker retreat and this was not explained fully in the description. No problem with this at all, but lots of things were not explained before booking. Rooms felt bit grubby, basic, outdated and bathroom was smelly. We did not use the shower facilities.
They cancelled my full paid reservation just 3 hours before out arrival.

Lovely place but contact them to choose your room.
6.0Beautiful house and staff very friendly
− My room was not as nice as the one I had the year before, it faced the courtyard where the lights were on all night, also I could hear the (central?) boiler firing up often, this kept me awake.
Tranquility and serenity
10.0A seriously historic setting far away from the hussle and bussle. Not like your usual stay away with the usual hotel trappings. It's far more. It's an ancient building and has its quirks. The team are wonderful and make your stay special. Tranquility and serenity.
