8.0− The hotel room was nice, just a few small minor things that I didn’t like. Our window couldn’t open, and wasn’t screwed down properly. And I do believe the bathroom could have been cleaned better. And it was slightly annoying trying to drive to and from the hotel due to the road it was on. However, I still rate it highly as I felt comfortable, it was clean for the most part, and the facilities were good.
I wouldn't stay with Parkhill again, unprofessional booking agents, dark hallways late at night are unsafe, horrible
4.0Location was close to where I needed to be the following day.
− Single bed looked like a hospital bed, was horrible. Lighting in hallway that only turned on when we walked to the room. Not being told that the stay did not include parking, very disappointing as we did not expect to have to park on the street! I only found out about that issue when I called after arriving at the property. Then was told it was too late to pay for parking. Also, to book the room took 6 emails and 4 phone calls. I was given the run around from booking through booking.com only to discover after being called that they do not handle the payment. This was all while I was at work, teaching a class and trying to do a simple thing such as book an apartment for the evening. It was ridiculous. I wouldn't book with Parkhill again. It was time wasting and the volume of emails from Parkhill was unnecessary. I also wasn't told about a bond until hours after booking and paying. Then received a call at work around 6pm stating that if I didn't pay the bond I would loose the booking! I had booked and paid without the bond hours ago and not once was I told about the bond in those many calls. It was unprofessional, a hassle and the apartment was very ordinary.
