Trastevere Sweet Dream

Dated room, not a good host.

The location was good in terms of getting around Rome. In the heart of Trastevere walking distance to most things or can get the tram/bus.

− Overall, we were pretty dissapointed with the stay and would not reccommend this property. Firstly, the check in on booking.com was 1pm. The night before the booking I requested whether there was a possibility of a 11am/12pm check in because our flight meant we would be getting in slightly earlier. The host responded quickly saying yes that’s possible. We had arrived at the property at 12pm (so an hour before check in actually was) to find the room completely not ready - the cleaner hadn’t been, air conditioning was broken and the window also broken. The host stated the rooms not ready but we can leave our bags and return at this point I raised my concerns about the messiness and dirtiness of the room because of course check in was at 1pm and the cleaner by 12:30 was still nowhere to be seen!! I was then told we can come back to check in at 3pm to which we objected as we had a tour booked as we had paid to check in at 1pm. The host said to come back at 1 and it all be ready. To our disappointment, the host had left but at 1 we found the cleaner had just arrived she said she’d need another 45 mins! We were not happy but had no other choice when we came back 45 minutes later the room was still not ready as the airbconditioning people had come to fix this. Our check in was an hour late delaying our ability to getto our tour on time!! No proper apologyor any compensation provided for this. Absolutely unprofessional. A very bad start to our trip to say the least. We managed to tell the air conditioning guys to leave our room and return later to fix it as we had to get ready and leave for our tour we had orebooked and paid!! This was super frustrating for several reasons-1. It was unprofessional that the host stated we can check in earlier when that wasn’t the case 2. It was extremely unprofessional that our room was still a complete mess and dirty from the last stay when we arrived and still dirty by check in time.

Location was perfect.

− Some basic things in a kitchen was absent ( microwave) or broken ( cofee machine). Air-conditioning was very loud, at night I had to switch it off.

Está en una excelente ubicación, cerca de todo, supermercado a la vuelta, lavandería frente al depa, muchos lugares entretenidos para comer, cerca de la micro 8 que te acerca a la plaza venezia y de donde puedes tomar el metro o ir a pie a los lugares turísticos, Roma se camina. Y la buena atención de Marco. .Ademas de la comodidad de poder prepárarte café y comer algo en el lugar que tiene un pequeño comedor con cocina y refrigerador. Volvería sin dudarlo.
