An exceptional stay in the middle of Southerin Sicilian countryside
9.0This stay was exceptional! The rooms are like little huts. There was a shared kitchen we could use. We did not make use of it except for some cutlery as some people did not take care of the fridge (it smelled) and left the washed cutlery out on the kitchen top. The pool at the farmhouse is gorgeous. The whole ambience is. Parking is not a problem. There is no reception at the farmhouse but Wifi was excellent everywhere on the property. The staff speak very good English for those who do not speak/understand Italian.
− There were only a few things we did not like. I understand that the farmhouse is the middle of the fields but some reinforcement with the doors and windows would be ideal. We ended up with ants in our luggages, clothes as well as on the bed sometimes! Ants are harmless but still. Another thing that we expected but did not find was the fact that on the website there is written that there is a menu of items that we could order from the kitchen. However, dinner time was only at a set-menu basis which was communicated with us in the morning during breakfast.

9.0It was clean, easy to check in, the pool was beautiful! The food was AMAZING!
− It could be better maintained in some areas, like around the pool. There was broken glass and we notified the hosts and the owner and they didn’t clean it up. We were concerned we would cut our feet on it by the pool. It would be nice to have some umbrellas around the pool.
