A cosy house on a quiet, tidy street. It was comfortably set up and easy to find what we needed. The location was good, with easy access to grocery and eating on Elizabeth Street, and a decent stride or quick bus trip into Hobart. Ted was a wonderful host, with excellent communication and the whole experience was stress free.

Not just a house... but a home

Set up as a home away from home. Lots of extras to make living away comfortable (eg. Laundry basket and equipment, coffee machine, extra blankets, full kitchen accessories for cooking).

− The skinny driveway carpark, common for Tassie city houses, meant pulling out before loading or unloading passengers. Not a specific Brampton Cottage complaint as similar issue found throughout Hobart and Launceston.

Great communication with host - extremely lovely cottage with all necessary facilities, excellent beds, excellent heating, washing facilities available. Close to CBD and just a great place to relax.

Well maintained, comfortable and spacious location, heaters were on so when we arrived it was warm and welcoming, little touches to make you comfortable, everything you could need

We were a family of five, with two young children, and the property accommodated us perfectly.

The location was excellent; we hired a car, for which there was ample parking on- and off-street, and we seemed to be only 5-10 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. The interior of the cottage is surprisingly spacious and the backyard and facilities were also appealing. We really wanted for nothing.
