I extended my stay because I felt safe at the hotel & there is just so much to see & do in SD!
10.0This is a basic hotel with the security, flexibility & everything a budget, solo traveler could need. It is close to everything especially the malecon / harbor which has a FANTASTIC variety of small parks, a GREAT bike or running path & multiple FABULOUS sea views. The hotel is within walking distance to all the colonial zone sights, restaurants, nightlife, the bridge to the East Side & Faro Colon, ferry to San Juan & Plaza Malecon where you can buy tickets. About the room, the cool & fresh sea air blowing into the room via big window and balcony door. My room (206) has a lot of privacy due to it's unique location. I could open the door for a cross wind if I chose. I loved the fan or a/c options. I HATE a/c! There are: a refrigerator, ample hangars, TV & laundry service upon request, too.
− The stairs but luckily I was on the 1st floor. The ground floor options do not have a window to see outside.
