Just how it was very secluded

Not very big atall All of us were in the same room Loads of cobwebs everywhere It was very old the interior and carpet was over 50 years old and all torn covered up by a front door mat No windows opened in living area and very dirty Sink was under the wooden staircase so u must be atleast 4ft in hight to wash your dishes comfortably Big bed creeked All dates upstairs were covered in cobwebs The water was milky colour and the plug they provided didn't keep the water in the sink so to wash your dishes u had no choice but to keep the water running with a wet soapy sponge. Outdoor furniture was old and dated and fence fel apart They false advertised a big massive chalet but we were in something called the snug a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 kids with ADHD and a medium dog. There was a pond that we were not told about and the night we arrived he fell in it and my son went in after him as he couldn't get out. He was on steroids for a skin condition and when he came out of the pond my god he stunk really bad we had to shower him straight away. They after being out all day Saturday the volume on the TV went on us and they couldn't come out and replace the TV so they said we can drive round and look for somewhere else to stay or go home The customer service I received was diabolical And the electric cooker didn't cook our food The whole stay was horrible from start to finish

Acceptable but could do with improvement

5.0

The location was lovely but difficult to get to if you had a low powered car. The unmade track was gutted and steep with very sharp bends that I had to take two stabs at, even using full lock, as my car has a poor lock. The bathroom was large and clean and the kitchen was spacious too.

The place was a bit shabby. The bathroom had the heated towel rail on full heat even though it was 30 degrees outside! So difficult to use the bathroom. I opened the windows but a lot of the window latches were missing in several rooms. I had been led to believe they would supply shower gel, shampoo etc but there was only a tiny bit of shower gel left over from a previous visitor. The double bed mattress was dreadfully uncomfortable. The garden was nice but a bit spoilt by areas where old broken flowerpot? had been left. There was an old battered washing machine on a trolley on the balcony. There were bramble trailers up the steps that I got entangled in. It just felt unkempt and in need of a spruce up.

Not Brilliant

The view

The Snug is in need of upgrade inside and out. The outside had not been weeded , the decking was unsafe. Did not attempt to do any cooking, everything grubby

Beautiful setting. Wonderful 17thC property.

A great location but privacy compromised by having so many lets close together.

The accommodation was clean and tidy inside and adequate provisions. Beautiful views and a pleasant place in the shade (hottest day) as we had taken our own camping chairs.

It was scruffy outside and genereally in need of maintenance (tlc). There was a somewhat alarming slate looking like it was about to crash down directly above the sitting area on the balcony. The lock on the door was worryingly non cooperative. The owner came (literally) to the rescue with some WD40. Loud neighbours sharing the adjacent balcony until late at night, spoilt the otherwise quiet location. Access and parking, let's say it was challenging!
