10.0Just wow. A beautiful lodge with so many different areas to relax and kuier. Game viewing from the deck was exceptional. The rooms are beautiful and the whole outdoor setting is not captured by the photos, this place is exceptional.
A great place to experience the bush in luxuary in a large group

5.0The lodge is in a beautiful setting and the overall design and layout of the property are very appealing. The covered verandah area provides a lovely space to spend time outdoors, and the location offers a peaceful bush experience. The accommodation itself is spacious and well suited to families in terms of layout.
− Unfortunately, our overall experience was significantly affected by how a damage deposit matter was handled after our stay. We were travelling with an infant and toddler and had requested a cot in advance. On arrival, we were asked to configure the sleeping arrangements ourselves. In order to safely accommodate the cot and child mattress in the bedroom, we temporarily moved a leather ottoman onto the covered verandah area, which forms part of the main furnished guest living space. Following heavy overnight rain on our final night, we were later informed after departure that the ottoman had been damaged and that the full damage deposit would be retained. We were surprised by this outcome, as the verandah appeared to be a fully roofed, furnished outdoor area intended for guest use, and no guidance had been provided regarding any restriction on moving small items of furniture or that the roof was structurally compromised. We also noted the presence of bat droppings throughout the bedrooms of the property during our stay, which we raised as a hygiene concern at departure but this was dismissed by the owner as the reality of being “in the bush.” A rather disappointing response for an apparent 5 star lodge. While we understand that damage can occur, we found the handling of the deposit and the lack of transparency at the time disappointing.
