1.0Can't really comment as we didn't like what we saw.
− We didn't stay, as the place appeared unkept with dirty washing lying on the floor in the eating/breakfast room. Owner appeared asleep in the bar area with only a dog to greet us. The owner finally awoke, and appeared to be unsteady on her feet. We left. Our prepayment of £270 was never refunded, even though Donna said she would refund us. Shall never visit Looe again.

1.0The view
− The whole place was dusty, and had a profound musty smell. Even the clean towels stank. There was no heating or hot water for the first and third nights No fire notices in the room. We were alone in the hotel for all nights, as it was unattended. Owner left a note saying she had been called away on urgent family business, but we found simular notes left with the same tale in the untidy reception area. The man who turned up to cook breakfast in the morning said he was helping out, but we suspect he is the owner just saying that to deflect any criticism we might have had. Some food items had been left out for days. We left a day early. The owner promised us a refund,, but that was 4 days ago, and nothing is forthcoming.
A bit disappointing due to the lack of the presence of the hotel host and breakfast
5.0Location was good although it's a steep climb to the hotel entrance. The view of the river from the room we had was nice.
− No response to calls, voice messages or email sent prior to arrival. Had to wait 15mins to be let in on arrival and was not given any overview or shown the lounge (or bar) as shown in the pictures. No one was available after initial contact and during the stay (including breakfast time). Breakfast was not as advertised (and not available). Room access was a little difficult (due to stairs).
Ok for a couple of nights.
