9.0Un emplacement magnifique en pleine nature et à proximité de trois très beaux temples. Le dîner en bord de rivière était magique. Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner au moment du vol des lucioles (mois de juin), totalement féerique.

10.0We loved the setting in the countryside next to a river and below a temple complex. The staff was wonderful and friendly. We told them where we were going after checkout and they drove us into town, helped us get a coin locker for our luggage, then dropped us off at our first shrine of the day--all free of charge. (They offered to take our luggage to our next hotel for 1000 yen per bag, but we went with the lockers instead.) The dinner by the river was a wonderful experience.

9.0Everything, location, river view, 100 year old traditional property run by the same family across 4 generations, traditional room, Onsen, food (classic Japanese traditional cuisine), cleanliness, very kind owner, her son and all the staffs. Also to add definitely that they perfectly took care of our non standard dietary requirements.
− Nothing, except a minor thing, not sure if that’s part of the tradition though, we felt there could be one full size mirror in the room.

9.0The hostess and staff were really welcoming, you can really feel their hospitality. Also, the food was superb. Also, they manage to make the access easier with their shuttle. And the place is beautiful and tranquil.
− Bathrooms werent my cup of tea and due to being winter, the room was cold during the night, even though the calefaction was trying to do its job.
