10.0Single occupancy for two nights - small room, but clean, good shower & comfortable bed. Food (smoked salmon & scrambled eggs for breakfast and Cajun chicken salad in the evening) was excellent and portions were generous. Staff friendly and efficient. All for a very reasonable price. Great location to explore Lake Windermere.
Low beams in bedroom
6.0Bedroom had a massive wooden beam across the bedroom restricting head room. We are only short it still meant that we had to duck our heads when getting out of bed. Narrow stairs up to our bedroom. Reviews said food was excellent but was adverage.

10.0From walking in the door staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, with a good powerful shower. Breakfast was excellent in terms of quantity and quality, again with very friendly service. The only slight negative that I had was, what I assume was air freshener, was very overpowering and unpleasant.
