Tolle Aussicht, in schöner wilder Natur gelegen. Sehr typisch und passend zur wilden Naturinsel Sao Jorge. Angesichts des feuchten Inselklimas eine der wahrscheinlich besten Unterkünfte dieser Art. Es war eigentlich kein Mensch zu hören nur die Möwen, Vögel und das Meer. Wenn man Einkaufen will muss man über kurvige Straßen 13 min zum kleinen Laden oder 30min zum Supermarkt. Wer mehr Tourismus, Kultur und Städte möchte sollte andere Inseln wählen. Am besten man hätte ein Schnelles Pedelec/EPAC. Damit wäre man auf der Insel genauso schnell wie ein Auto, aber es würde richtig Spaß machen auf den kurvigen Straßen zu fahren. Beim Autofahren nerven die engen kurvigen Straßen eher. Zum Wandern und Schnorcheln ist es hingegen ganz hervorragend geeignet.

Location near the ocean. Peaceful place with a stunning view at the Pico mountain on the Pico Island. Very clean, the house had everything you need on the holiday. And last but not least the welcome basket with delicious local cheese and wine. Truly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Dos Vimes. It well and truly exceeded our expectations - and they were high already! The location is quiet and peaceful within Faja dos Vimes, surrounded by small paddocks and the ocean across the road. You do have to drive minimum 20mins to get anywhere else on the island, but we knew to expect this and it was part of the charm. The cottage itself was very quaint and cosy, with plenty of room for larger groups and all the required facilities. It is more well-kept than the photos make it appear, which was a nice surprise. The kitchen was fully stocked too which made it easy to prepare food for hikes. Antonio, the host, was very kind and made every endeavour to make us comfortable, including gifting us a bottle of wine and some local cheese on our last night - we enjoyed meeting him and chatting to him.

A vista, em redor da casa dos Vimes, é espetacular! A casa foi confortavel para o nosso grupo e o espaço exterior é otimo para relaxar a ver o mar se houver bom tempo. Pena nossa, que não o tivemos! Local calmo. Fajã a visitar.

− Apesar da estadia ser em fins de Abril, houve chuva e frio e entrava o frio pelas portas e janelas. Notámos a falta de algum sofá para podermos relaxar após o jantar a desfrutar o momento. Os bancos de madeira da cozinha, tornam se desconfortaveis, para alem do fresco que entrava por baixo da porta.
