Schöne, ruhige Unterkunft in wundervoller Lage
9.0Der Beachcomber ist ein wunderschönes Haus, herrlich gelegen in einem kleinen Fischerort nur wenige Meter vom Meer entfernt. Brenda und Walter waren immer ansprechbar und sehr freundlich ! Wir haben uns ein bisschen in Inverallochy/Cairnbulg und diese Unterkunft verliebt. Es ist alles da was man benötigt, es fehlte an nichts, sogar Fahrräder sind vorhanden ! Diese Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen (wenn man von den Möwen absieht :-)) und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren entlang der wundervollen Nordostküste Schottlands. Bei unserem Aufenthalt hatten wir alles, Sonnenschein zum Baden an dem nicht weit entfernten riesigen Sandstrand und einem herrlichen Sommersturm mit peitschender Gischt. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch der hervorragende Eisladen im Ort (Peters) ! Große Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto in nicht mal 10 Minuten in Fraserburgh zu erreichen, einen kleinen Tante Emma-Laden (gut sortiert) inkl. Post (mit guten Öffnungszeiten) gibt es im Ort.

This is a gem of a cottage
10.0The cottage was very comfortable, very well equipped and exceptionally clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find some essential food items on arrival. The village is lovely and quiet, and the residents were so friendly and welcoming. Lots of information in the cottage for places to visit, recommendations on places to eat. Brenda was easily contactable if you had a problem or needed any advice. We had no reason to contact her, but it was a lovely touch when she checked to see if we needed anything.
