So...before booking this on hotels.com I did a search for "Chiang Mai Unique Mud Houses" on google maps and was directed to a location that has nothing to do with the hotel/resort (though a photo shows the actual resort). To get there I tried the "Grab" taxi service but it did not recognise Chiang Mai Mud houses, so I called the number included in my reservation to be told by the agent there (in reasonable English) that he had no record of my reservation and he does not deal with hotels.com anyway ???. And the name of the hotel is Hern Lhin. Wait what? This hotel basically has two listings in hotels.com - "Hern Lhin Natural Resort" & this one "Chiang Mai Unique Mud Houses". No problem... let's sort this out with hotels.com at https://service.hotels.com/ only to find I am being led around in circles trying to find a phone number to talk to someone. Why is there no direct contact listed there to fix issues like this? I eventually found a number via google (custhelp.com). The communication between hotels.com and this place are seriously messed up, even after talking with hotels.com 3 times, getting assurance all was booked and paid for, when I arrived at the hotel they still had no record of my booking. The hotel was only okay, staff tried their best. The room was cleanish, WiFi was great. However the restaurant was overrun by mosquitos. Unique Mud houses should be removed from hotels.com for clarity.

จองโรงแรมนี้แต่ไม่ได้พักเจ้าหน้าที่บอกว่าห้องเต็มแต่ในเว็บยังบอกมีห้องว่างทางเราเลยจองและตัดบัตรเครดิตเรียบร้อยถึงเวบาจะเข้าพักเจ้าหน้าที่ให้ย้ายที่เป็นอีกโรงแรมหนึ่งซึ่งต้องเดินขึ้นบันไดไป3ชั้นและห้องน้ำเล็กมากเวลาอาบน้ำคอมแอร์อยู่เหนือหัวเราซึ่งไม่ดีเลยๆและอาหารเช้าแย่มากน้อยมากไม่มีพนักงานคอยบริการเลยกินตามคำบอกว่ามีอาหารเช้าเท่านั้นเว็บนี้พึ่งเคยจองครั้งแรกเจอแบบนี้แล้วเหมือนหลอกลวงลูกค้ารบกวนเจ้าของเว็บเช็คความแน่นอนของที่พักก่อนจะปล่อยออกให้ลูกค้าความน่าเชื่อถือของเว็บคุณจะดูน้อยลง.
