A Dream Vacation
10.0Four nights at Bedarra Beach House were a dream vacation from start to finish. Owner John had all aspects well planned out. It began with his modern commercial property where we parked the rental car and comfortably loaded our belongings onto his boat. Food was bought at the nearby supermarket and kept in John’s coolers. We then drove with his car and trailered boat to the excellently equipped marina. From there it was a 25-minute trip on sheltered waters to the island. It has a beautiful sandy beach, easy for landing, where caretakers Al & Lisa greeted us. They took care of bringing all items to the house, which is located a comfortable short walk uphill. The house is very well designed, constructed and equipped. We loved the open-air concept, the space and slept like babies. Most of our time was spent on the wonderful beach and in the warm water. There was no concern about jellyfish or crocs, as is common on the mainland. The island flora is lush and filled with the sound and sights of birds. We have rarely experienced a more relaxing vacation. Thank you John, Al & Lisa!
A truly wonderful spot
10.0Bedarra Island makes for a very special holiday. A beautiful beach, great sunset watching spots, kayak for exploring and incredible service by the owner and caretakers. We consider ourselves lucky to have found and experienced this little spot. Highly recommend!

Incredible stay at Bedarra Beach House
10.0This was one of our favourite trips…ever. The property was stunning and immediately made us feel welcomed and relaxed. Bedarra Beach House is a beautiful property, surrounded by the most incredible private beaches and incredible flora and fauna. The beach water was turquoise blue - we thoroughly enjoyed snorkelling above the reefs and kayaking, and were lucky enough to swim with a turtle (a life highlight!). We can’t thank John and Anne enough for sharing this wonderful piece of the world with others - we can’t wait to return! Don’t hesitate to book this property, it will be sensational.
