Beautiful location. Very peaceful. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Loved the breakfast.

− If you don't have potable water you need to provide drinkable water to your guests. I should be in a situation where it's late at night and I have not clean water I can drink. There were two water bottles for sale in the minibar but that's not enough to get through a whole day. Additionally, we were paying enough for these rooms that I don't think it's necessary to charge for every little thing. I understand charging for things in the minibar - that's standard. But charging a euro and a half for coffee pods? It feels cheap and leaves you with a bad impression. It's really the little things at a hotel that make you want to come back (and equally little things that make you not want to come back). Additionally -- we did not have wifi in our room. We had to go outside near the pool to reach the wifi signal.

Une très grande propriété au calme avec une magnifique piscine, un très beau jardin typique de la région. Une bonne organisation pour gérer les vélos avec le loueur local (ils viennent les chercher à la fin du séjour). Compte tenu des espaces,toujours un coin pour être tranquille. Un bon buffet pour le petit déjeuner.

− L’éloignement du village peut être un inconvénient si on est à pied notamment pour dîner le soir, mais avec des vélos ce n’est pas un problème.

Ca'n Gaia couldn't have been more perfect for a holiday filled with sun, swimming and exploration.

The photos don't do justice to how beautiful the hotel and its grounds are. They've done an amazing job at creating a tasteful and tranquil setting that felt very special for our family holiday. The hotel only really serves breakfast and the staff leave around 3pm, so you have to be willing to go our for dinner. Because there are a limited number of rooms and most guests end up going out for the day, you can always get a lounger by the pool, but it also means that the hotel feels a bit quiet. Which can be great, depending on what you're looking for. The pool is great for adults and for kids, with a shallow bit on one end and an unheated jacuzzi that kids love. The staff were also very friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful. The hotel is close to a lot of beautiful beaches and towns but you do need a car. If you're looking for the type of holiday that sounds like the above, I would highly recommend Ca'n Gaia.
