Exceptional location made even better by friendly, helpful staff
10.0Liz made our family feel at home the moment we stepped into the place. Even before we arrived she gave us valuable information about what to bring and where to go. It would just be another great holiday home but Liz made it exceptionally special for us, we all had a wonderful time. If we manage to get over to FNQ from the West Coast again we will have to come back to Horseshoe Bay & Sails again

Unit needs maintenance
6.0Good location and Lizzie was very nice and helpful
− The aircon smelled horrible upstairs. Had to call Lizzie back to investigate. Kept it off the entire stay. Stairs were creaky when you walked on them. Stove hood range didn’t work, towel rack in downstairs bathroom was loose, down stairs toilet continually ran, inside vanity it smelled musty, aircon remote in the front bedroom didn’t work, tap in upstairs toilet dripped. Could hear a weird water gushing through pipes ever 4 mins and this was annoying at night.
Fabulous week on Magnetic Island
9.0The apartment is spacious and perfectly located across the street from the beach. The kitchen is well equipped to cook meals at home, the bed is very comfortable as well as the living room furniture. As a short term holiday rental the apartment is showing some wear and tear but we enjoyed our week in Horseshoe Bay.
− Kids in the pool right outside the unit can be a bit noisy if you are looking for a quiet vacation. Sound travels between units on either side.
