Good central location for one or two nights.

Adequately sized room, very big comfortable bed. Nice large bathroom, which was very clean. Small space for making drinks, use of microwave if wished, and small washing up area.

− Location street was noisy in the evenings, with people having a night out, and the window overlooked a back yard of an entertainment venue. There were late night emptying of bottles into the recycling bin from the venue. We stayed there during the hot weather, so had to have the window open.

The apartment was very clean and spacious. The location was ideal.

− I would have liked a second chair in the room. There was confusion relating to available parking at the property. There isn't any.

Location excellent.

Comfortable bed, clean, kitchenette great. The shower module needs fixing.

It had a fridge, kettle and microwave

− The shower was horrendous. Either scalding hot water or ice cold. The mixer obviously was broken

Room was okay for my needs, but let down by the extra booking requirements that came with it

Location good - withing walking distance of both railway stations with a taxi rank outside door if needed . Nice shower once l had found the trip switch . Room was clean

− Room small, No table to eat meals at . Bed consisted of two singles pushed together, (comfortable though). Windows are single glazed (prob listed building) which meant you could hear a bit of noise from nearby establishments . Curtains dated.My main issue is the booking arrangements. After you make the booking you will receive an email asking for a further £50 deposit to cover any damages along with a photo id. Not ideal, and l am not sure if that follows Booking .com requirements. However. having made payment l was still receiving emails asking me to do this - so much so l ended up telephoning the host to confirm they had received the deposit. Again l had to email the property to return my deposit as l had not received it in the stated time. It was however promptly paid after this. Lastly the building picture on the Booking page is not your building but the church opposite - which may mislead your expectations.

It is in a good location. Close to the railway stations and in the town centre.

− Read the small print before booking. This is not an 'apartment'. It is a bed-sit. No cooker- just a microwave. No dining table. You may as well choose a hotel room for the price. They sent check-in instructions at eight minutes past three...with a broken link. They also do not release your GBP50 for seven days (it hit my bank account same-day). In the world of instant payments, there is no excuse for this.
