The best place to stay in Poitiers
10.0It was our first experience of staying in a B&B and it was excellent. The breakfast was like a cordon bleu restaurant and fit for kings. The room was lovely. Large and very comfortable. The decor of the building was beautifully done. It is a 15 min walk to the centre across the river. Philippe was extremely generous with his time and the efforts he puts into providing an excellent service. His English is also extremely good.

10.0Cet hôtel n'est pas commun. On y est presque comme invité par le propriétaire à résider chez lui. Dans un cadre très original, à deux pas du centre ville, on y passe un moment bucolique et paisible. Les chambres sont comme à la maison, et le petit déjeuner savoureux, préparé avec soin, offre une variété de produits soigneusement préparés. A privilégier si vous souhaitez passer un bon moment.

The room exceeded our expectations with its exquisite furnishings and high-quality bedding, all impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed to ensure our comfort. Philippe is an exceptional host who truly pours his heart and soul into this beautiful home, conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from the charming old town center. His recommendations for dining were spot on; don’t miss “Le Comptoir du Marché” for a fantastic meal featuring fresh market ingredients and attentive service. Breakfast at Philippe's is a highlight—an outstanding spread that reflects his creativity and dedication. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you, Philippe; we will definitely be back!
