− Coffee machine faulty. The shower needs a wand attachment. The breakfast was boring. The water for tea and coffee was luke warm. NO marmalade? No atmosphere. Needs some unobtrusive background music in the dining room

5.0Beautiful building and nice setting
− No hot water in shower. Breakfast buffet was not restocked so when we arrived there was hardly anything to eat. No tables to sit at as they hadn’t been cleared. No staff around to deal with matters.

6.0The property is lovely and kept in good condition. The room was comfortable and had a very spacious bathroom. Easy parking. Nice hotel bar. The staff were all lovely and very friendly - when you did find them!
− I’m guessing we were unfortunate to be there when the hotel was short staffed? There was no one to check in with on arrival- the hotel had to be searched for them! There were no staff when we checked out & there were no staff at breakfast! When we arrived for breakfast, the limited option was even more limited - as many of the plates & the coffee were empty - so we made do with what scraps were left! The tables hadn’t been cleared, so we cleared one ourselves & had to find some cutlery that hadn’t been used yet on used tables. I’m guessing we were just there on a bad weekend.
