9.0Reasonably varied breakfast. Pretty location on the lake. Two different restaurant on site.
− Rather expensive, but comfortable.
Okay for an overnight stay but some aspects below par
6.0Convenient location for tour of the lake area and close to several hiking options. Rooms are okay and although a little basic are quite spacious. Equipped with kettle, plenty of hot water for the shower. Stayed in the main house building which is a short walk from the main reception area. Food here is okay. Dined in the restaurant in the evening in the absence of other eating places in the resort which were all closed and breakfast taken here in the morning.
− Service here is hit and miss. Waited almost 15 minutes for someone to appear at reception on arrival with no explanation or apology. Service also slow at breakfast with pots left on tables and not wiped down after diners. Some persistent upselling in the restaurant for the evening meal, which was a little irritating but the food was well presented although it should be noted that portions are very small and we are not big eaters. Only one restaurant open at the time of our visit.
