10.0I had a pit stop driving from Atlanta and needed a quick recharge before heading back home to Houston. As a Bonvoy Gold member, I received plenty of snacks and drinks as a warm welcome, which I appreciated. I do not often see hotels go above and beyond the way TownePlace Suites did. The rooms were freshly cleaned and organized, which was great, but the two air conditioner controls were a bit perplexing. I had to find the controls, though there was a note saying they were by the back of the window. Removing the redundant climate control by the front door would be useful and would reduce confusion. I had a pleasurable stay, and the breakfast bar was really good with a quick-make waffle machine and stellar options. I will consider staying at another TownePlace Suites property in the near future.
Unfortunate review
4.0The property itself is decent, but it falls short compared to other townplace suites I’ve stayed in. The room had an unusual odor and smell that persisted despite using air fresheners. I’m considering avoiding this location in the future.
