Okay place with nice staff
8.0First of all we really have to emphasize that the staff is super friendly and helpful, especially Ives and Gilbert. The room was clean and everything worked well. WiFi speed was fine, also within the room. Food at the restaurant was decent and came in large portions.
− We didn't get the room we'd booked as there was a bigger group of factory workers who occupied all rooms except for the 'dorm' apartment, where we spent our nights. It was not a big deal but kind of weird, because it features 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and we were just 2 people. Also the other rooms looked more comfortable and cozier. Be aware that the Google Maps place 'Palm Garden Lodge' which links to 'Palm Garden Resort' on Booking.com and which is also mentioned in the Lonely Planet East Africa travel book is NOT the same place! The rooms look different and you don't have lake access.
