10.0This lodge is run by a lovely Sri Lankan woman and her husband and they take such great pride in their beautiful accomodation and breakfast, they care so deeply about their customer you'd think you were family! It used to be their family home but they have converted it into a beautiful and sturdy lodge. The breakfast was insanely delicious! The first breakfast was a wonderful continental with eggs, toast, sausages, fruits and a delicious papaya juice. We then were super lucky to have a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner that consisted of Kiribath, String Hoppers, Potato Curry, Chicken Curry, Fresh Sambol & Fresh Chutney. I'm not kidding when I say that it was the most delicious food we had during our entire 2 week travel around Sri Lanka, it was out of the world! The view from our actual room was incredible as well, you genuinely won't believe how amazing it looks at night with all the different hills and houses lighting up. The beds were super comfortable, the tea and coffee was delicious, the amenities were well equipped and there is a fridge available too.
− The pipes were slightly leaking onto the bathroom tiles, but thankfully there was no odour.

Nice and friendly staff , quiet atmosphere
9.0It has nice view and there is a Jack tree with jack fruits hanging . We came hungry and receptionist helped to order Food. . I ordered Evening meal and it tasty Sri Lankan those. Breakfast was arranged for my preferred time.

− This was our second stay at the property. During our previous visit with our baby girl, we received a warm welcome, which encouraged us to book the property again. However, this time it turned out to be a disappointing experience. The staff should be more welcoming and friendly towards guests, ensuring a proper reception upon arrival. Unfortunately, no welcome drink was offered, and it seemed they were not adequately prepared to accommodate Sri Lankan guests. Additionally, the television in our room was not functioning, and no effort was made to apologize or resolve the issue. The room itself was also quite dusty. Overall, this was one of the worst decisions we made, and these matters require immediate attention and improvement from the management.
