10.0We especially liked the breakfast room with Lakeland slate walls. We loved the homemade Granola and fresh fruit bowls and the enormous Lakeland sauasages which came with the cooked breakfast. We also loved the breakfast choices and the way in which Andrea and Giles presented and produced the breakfast, delivering it hot, with a minimal wait and cooked to perfection. Our room was exceptionally clean, the furnishings were fresh and welcoming, the bedding crisp and white, there was plenty of Clipper tea, coffee and hot chocolate available. There was even free parking and Elder Grove was just a few minutes walk to the centre of Ambleside.
