7.0The placement is just amazing, very easy to access and there is a lot to see in the sourroundings. The hot spring and sauna are perfect, and the room nicely decorated with a great coffee machine. The staff and family very friendly and you do feel very welcome. The dinner was top!
− Compared to other places we stayed in during our 2 weeks trip, it did not meet our expectations based on the pictures and the ratings. Our room had one small window, was very dark and the decoration was very very simple (not like in the pictures). No hotel amenities a part from soap and Elseve Shampoo (which I highly recommend to be replaced by something more local and organic since it is a farm). Since dinner was homemade with local food and truly nice, we were looking forward to a great breakfast. However it was very basic: toast, instead of real bread, no eggs (just sliced long eggs and industrial scrambeld egg), no whole fruits but slices. Of course there was yogurt, cheese etc, but Everything felt a bit cheap and nothing that you would expect from a farm. We stayed in B&B‘s and Country Hotels along the ring roas much cheaper but with a truly nice breakfast.

10.0Absolutamente todo. La habitación era muy amplia, cómoda y tranquila. El baño estaba impecable y contaba con todo lo necesario. A nuestra llegada nos recibieron con un pequeño obsequio: un paquete de sal de elaboración propia que estaba deliciosa. El alojamiento dispone además de un pequeño circuito de hot springs, exclusivo y gratuito para los huéspedes, perfecto para relajarse después de un día de ruta. El desayuno buffet estaba incluido y todo estaba riquísimo. Nos encantó también el folleto informativo que entregaban cada mañana, con datos curiosos sobre la zona, información del alojamiento, la previsión meteorológica del día y otros detalles que aportaban un valor añadido a la estancia. El personal fue encantador en todo momento, siempre dispuesto a resolver cualquier duda y hacer que la experiencia fuera aún mejor. Sin duda, el mejor alojamiento de toda nuestra ruta por Islandia.

Excellent and relaxing stay
10.0Great spot along the ring road. The hot tub area was well designed with a sauna, multiple heated sections and a cold plunge. The dinner was excellent and the staff was really kind (the chef made a personal accomodation for us to get a special chocolate dessert we had seen on his instagram previously). Definitely recommend a stay here.
