Great Location but the villa needs a bit of Love.

The location was excellent, the pool lovely. Nice owners who attended when requested. Comfy beds and well appointed kitchen.

− We thought the place was well used and quite tired in places, the BBQ was filthy and we could not use it, despite mentioning it the response was it just needs coals, that was not the point the grills were rusty, and not cleaned in a long while, the fridge did not close without making sure, the freezer door seals are hanging off and need repositioning to close the door, the showers are old but functional. The garden out the front is very dissaponting. That could be lovely and the building could do with a whitewash to bring it back to its splendour. The sun beds are all in our opinion worn out and uncomfortable. We expected more for what we paid. The door looks are worn and awkward to open especially with a young child in your arms.

Lovely villa with a pool and stunning beaches nearby

The villa was lovely with a nice outdoor area that contained a pool and dining area. The were plenty of facilities (4 bathrooms, a washing machine, ironing board, dishwasher, oven and fridge). The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet so we al slept quite well. The location was excellent: only a 5 minute walk from the beach and around 10 minutes from the centre. Homerti hosted and were very receptive to messages and phone calls. The owners daughter visited us on the fist day and she was very nice and gave us recommendations. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would return.

− We thought the 4pm check-in time was a bit late - I understand time is needed for the villa needs to be cleaned but we arrived in Cala d'Or at 12pm so thought this was quite long to wait around with no option to drop our bags anywhere. Especially considering the checkout time is 10am that's quite a long period of cleaning. We had no hot water for one day but when we contacted Homerti they fixed this very promptly so this wasn't an issue. We found the villa a bit cold in the evenings but we did go in May so to be expected. I'm not sure if there were heating options as we didn't look into it. Overall very minor issues.

villa cala esmeralda ligt op een perfecte locatie in een rustige straat, dichtbij leuke strandjes en eettentjes. ook de supermarkten zijn dichtbij. Eigenaar van de villa kwam aan het eind van ons verblijf nog even langs om te vragen of alles naar wens was geweest, echt super service.

Mooie locatie. Ruim op perceel met groot vakantiehuis. Hele fijne matrassen, lekker stevig en niet doorgelegen. Ruime woning op een mooi perceel

− Kitnaden badkamer volledig versleten of niet meer aanwezig, erg veel kalk/viezigheid rail douche deur. Keukenkastjes afgebladderd. Het geheel kan wel een opfrisbeurt gebruiken.

Great private, spacious Villa with large clean pool near to all the action in Cala D’or

The hosts were brilliant, responsive and helpful. This property is very large and spacious for the price, it is in a great location near to bars, beaches and the transport shuttle around the greater Cala D’or area. 2 beaches were within 5 minutes walk, others 15 mins. The Villa has its own pool which was the highlight for us, my 16 year old, and 12 year old grandchildren were in, or by the pool all the time we were there. The pool was also larger and deeper than we expected, it was well maintained by the owners pool guy, meaning we had crystal clear water. Our daughter and son in law had sole use of the separate upstairs apartment meaning they had privacy when they wanted it. The kitchen had a dishwasher which is essential when there are 6 of you, full size cooker, fridge and freezer. There is an automatic washing machine for towels, swimwear etc. It is very private, not overlooked or within anyone’s view. The drive is big enough for 2 hire cars which we had. 6 sun beds were provided, plus great outside shaded dining area, with table and 6 chairs.

− This has to be viewed in context that complete villas in Cala D’or near to the sea and town centre, and especially with its own pool and parking are very rare. Certain aspects of the Villa are tired to be polite, however we could not find anything else where and when we wanted, at any price when we were searching to book. We would 100% go again.
