10.0Staff were exceptionally helpful when one of our group tore her ankle ligaments and had to cut short that day's walk. All very friendly. We stayed in one of the self contained cottages and, although we didn't need the kitchen, it looked well set up. Property was very clean and well presented. Food (dinner and breakfast) were excellent.

10.0Dinner was very good, breakfast was probably the best cooked breakfast i have had anywhere, and the room was very cosy. All in all a great find.

− Poor choice of menu for evening meal and overpriced. There were pressures on staff but service was very slow and we waited an hpour for a meal

10.0Lovely room within the pub grounds with private outdoor area. The Gin Trap Inn is a friendly local pub serving excellent meals. We had an evening meal ( risotto was really tasty) and a good selection of local ales was a nice bonus. The staff were very welcoming and overall we had a lovely stay here. Definitely stay again.

− Food was nice, but limited menu for a three night stay. Weather very hot, but no salads on the menu.

Should guests wish to eat at the restaurant they are advised to reserve a table for lunch/dinner in advance.
Please note that the property will be having some minor building work done from the 3rd May to 13th May, 2022 in the Garden.
