De unieke inrichting met antiek en kunst maakt dit hotel bijzonder. De ruime kamers, het comfortabele bed en de mooie tuin aan het water zorgen voor een rustige sfeer. Ook het personeel was uitzonderlijk vriendelijk en attent.

− De badkamer voelde donker en rook onaangenaam. Het zwembad was niet erg proper. De prijzen voor eten en drinken liggen opvallend hoog. De ligging is rustig, maar je bent wel ongeveer 30 minuten met de tuktuk onderweg naar de bezienswaardigheden . In de directe omgeving is weinig te doen.

Most memorable boutique hotel stay

The most beautiful accomodation I’ve ever stayed in. We only stayed 1 night, but wished we stayed more. The hotel is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed, making it a comfortable and luxurious stay. The room is exceptional, with many thoughtful additions. For example, complimentary bug repellent, books to read in the courtyard, international power sockets etc. The staff are very kind and hospitable, making us feel super comfortable and relaxed! The location is a bit further from Colombo city centre, but only a Tuk Tuk away! They also have 2 cats that live there who are adorable and always sleeping on a couch somewhere. It was our last day in Sri Lanka and had a very late flight. The staff let us check out later as well as leave our luggage for the day. We returned in the night for a swim and dinner and was able to use the bathroom facilities. This was super helpful and kind of the staff to be so accommodating despite being checked out. I will be returning to Aathma Colombo House again soon!

We stayed here for the first night of our Sri Lanka trip, and we absolutely loved every moment! From the warm hospitality to the beautiful surroundings, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding—delicious, authentic, and full of traditional Sri Lankan herbs and spices. We also loved the wide variety of fresh tropical fruits available. To make our stay even more special, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the Simba Suite (a family Suite), the property's largest suite with a private jacuzzi. As we were celebrating my partner's birthday, the team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making the celebration truly unforgettable. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Sri Lanka. If you're considering staying here, don't hesitate—just book it! You won't regret it.
