Truly bloody awful.

The restaurant and bar staff were friendly and accommodating. Without them, this hotel review would have been even worse.

− Where to start? My mother always told me, if you have nothing good to say, say nothing. But I'm breaking that rule here. Let's start easy... This is not a hotel with sports facilities – it's a sports facility with bedrooms. 4 nights here cost the equivalent of 2 full annual gym memberships. On arrival we discovered a single 250ml bottle of water for 2 people. Any water after that was charged. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. If you wanted that – charged. The reception staff were gruff, grumpy and unaccommodating, making us feel like any question was met with rolled eyes and "Oof... well if I MUST". It was noisy, with guests outside at 1.30am shouting and slamming car doors. The breakfast was rudimentary and heaven forbid you should want decent coffee (actual espresso based coffee available... at a price). But here's the kicker... After our first night my wife woke in the morning with a slight rash on her legs and chest. I was fine. The morning after our second night, her rash had spread and I had a rash on my feet, legs and back. We researched rashes online. This did not look good. Definitely NOT mosquitos but, more worryingly, possibly bed bugs. By the time we left on our last morning and I had further signs of rash and the earlier rash marks had started blistering. I now had marks on my head, arms, and hands. My wife too had more bites. My wife counted 32 on one leg alone. This was definitely bed bugs – confirmed when my wife found one crawling on my shoulder. We mentioned it to the staff who, beyond saying "Probably mosquitoes!", could not have cared less. Mosquito bites DO NOT leave blisters. Just "Ah well... never mind, eh?". We thought we were going to get something amazing, given the price. But for 2/3rds of the price of a single night here, we stayed at another hotel on our trip which was literally a castle with amazing food, rooms, views and staff.

Gute, moderne Zimmereinrichtung

− Das Zimmer hatte nur ein Fenster zum geschlossenen Innenflur. Die Luft im gesamten Gebäude war schrecklich warm und roch nach altem Teppich. Lüften im Zimmer war deshalb also auch nicht möglich.

Stort værelse med masser af plads. Fin udsigt.

− Værelset var alt alt for varmt. Soleksponeret med 30 graders varme i skyggen! Uanvendeligt til ophold. Ingen mulighed for afkøling på værelset. Ineffektivt minikøleskab, som havde svært ved at nedkøle en flaske vand!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dass man das große, dehr gut ausgestattete Fitnesscenter mitnutzen kann ist super. Der Pool war wegen Wartung leider geschlossen. Die Zimmer waren schön groß.

− Wenn ich ein Doppelzimmer buche, oder in unserem Fall zwei, möchte ich nicht für einen zweiten Handtuch Satz extra losgehen müssen. Für unsere Verhältnisse sehr früh morgens ging auf den Trainingsplätzen z.B das Basketball Training los. Die laute Musik und das Balldribbeln beenden den Schlaf. Man muss sich beim Buchen darüber im Klaren sein, dass man in einem Sportzentrum nächtigt.
