10.0The location is incredible! The property was well maintained and comfortable. We really enjoyed the boutique concept. with only 4 rooms, it felt exclusive (almost like our own vineyard).
− Wifi was spotty. This was exacerbated by no televisions on the property. Normally this would not bother us (in fact this would be a bonus), but we were unable to watch the World Cup finals.
A fantastic, peaceful break, stunning views, brilliant staff and beautiful wine - I'd avoid dinner.
7.0The location is dreamy - absolutely stunning. The staff are fantastic and we felt really looked after.
− The food served in the evening did not meet our expectation. We have visited Douro in the past and have had exceptional meals. We were aware that the venue does not have a restaurant but chose to dine there both evenings as the advertised partnership with a local restaurant sounded promising. Both evenings the food felt really dry and left us feeling disappointed. I would go back and stay there again but avoid the evening meals.
