It was a good stay, and a place I’d consider in the future.
8.0Lovely place, and host Maria had a translate app handy for any communication between us. Her breakfast is filling, and the baked goods are perfect for dipping in coffee! She recommended a local restaurant just down the block, and the food there was great. The casona is fairly near a wonderful seaside path that goes from Playa Nora all the way into Gijón, with a number of beaches along the way.
− I had one of the attic rooms, cute as it could be, but all 5’2” of me kept bumping my head, so I pulled the furniture out to keep it from happening :-) During my stay, the snores of another guest rattled the rafters all night long…not much soundproofing, plus I imagine we all had our windows open. The amount of outdoor sound at night was surprising; barking dogs, a neighbor cat in heat, cowbells, and a local festival deep into the night on my last night. Just mentioning in case you’d want earplugs.

10.0Pasamos poco tiempo en la casa porque íbamos pocos días y queríamos conocer la zona, pero la casa está genial y la atención de la dueña fue muy buena. Repetiríamos sin duda. 100% recomendable. No llegamos a desayunar allí, pero una noche al llegar olía de maravilla a bizcocho casero, así que estoy segura de que el desayuno sería delicioso.
