10.0The price was amazing the room was great value for money the staff was about if you needed them and not if you didn't
Cheap and reliable
7.0Cheap and cheerful
− Nothing
It was ok
6.0Communication was good, i asked to check in late, which was possible. Room was quite big and big bed, had coffee and tea making facilities and the room had a fan, which was very much needed.
− The check in process seemed a bit disorganised but that could be due to the time of check in, which was past 11pm. The room was ok but bathroom coulf have been cleaner. Not sure what was going on with the shower, was impossible to get the right temperature, either cold or too hot so didnt have the best shower. Could not open a window in the room. Noone was there in the morning. Not terrible but definitely has room for improvement.
Disgusting
1.0Nothing at all
− Disgusting place!! I booked a room for 1 night as I had a friend’s party to attend, the worst night I have ever had. Friends I had traveled with also had the room next to mine. As we walked in we got some strangers looks and stares which was quite uncomfortable, the lady checked us in and gave us out keys, she let us know where our rooms where and left us to it. When I enter my room I actually wanted to cry. It was dirty, smelly and had seen better days. Only one curtain at the window would open, stains on the toilet, bedding and towels smelt fusty, disgusting stained mattress and the general cleanliness was shocking. I went down to speak to the staff and she checked my room and said that the curtain can’t be opened because it looks like it’s been tie clipped up then she said she would send someone up to clean the toilet. Another lady came up with a detol spray bottle and cloth wiped the toilet and said she will inform maintenance about the curtains. I told the manger that £50 was unacceptable for the state of the room, she said I could find somewhere else to stay but with only 2 hours to be at the party I had not time and I don’t know the area. It’s very noisy with people still in the pub at 3am, shouting, playing pool and loud music. There is only one mirror in the room which is in the bathroom, no plugs close by so had noway if using a mirror to do my hair. I turned the bedside lamp on and there wasn’t much point, the light that came from it was non existent. The pillows on the bed are rock hard. I had an awful nights sleep and went home feeling ill and exhausted. I could only add 4 photos to my review but I have more and wish I could upload
