9.0Size of rooms, decor, layout all brillinat
− As I was in a room with no aircon and fans it was exceptionally warm, especially in the shared areas ie restaurant
So pleased we chose to stay here.
10.0Great atmosphere, comfortable spacious room, food amazing, staff great, location very pretty.
− The wooden shutters on the rooms let in too much light in the morning and cleaning staff were making a lot of noise above us quite early.
Guest review
8.0Staff were welcoming and friendly.
Couldn't sleep - room was dark and outside was dirty
4.0Nothing
− Very disappointing stay. The room I was given looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com. It was noisy all night with pigeons and dogs outside, and I was awake from 4 a.m. The area around the hotel was also dirty. Breakfast was very poor, with a small, poorly presented buffet. Overall, the hotel is not worth the price they charge. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
Excellent stay
9.0Really good pub with rooms and buzzing restaurant
− Rate hiked by 3 times as there was racing on at Newmarket.
Guest review
8.0Lovely, quiet location, lots of packing and free WIFI
− Small details needed adjusting such as broken curtains, no handle on the drawers and a bathroom door that doesn't lock, the only window in our room was ground height and looked out to an unkept paved area full of ants and flies so couldnt have the windows open, breakfast was quite slow
