Had a wonderful stay at New Hotel Shiva in Gaya. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food was absolutely delicious as well. Everything about the experience was excellent. They even helped us arrange a rickshaw to go back to the airport, which was very convenient. The location is also great, only around 20 minutes from the Bodh Gaya Temple.

Value for a one night stay

This is bit of mix bag accommodation. I think they are doing well for what is available and what is provoded for the money. So it is a value for money accommodation. The hotel is located in a good place. Rooms are relatively good. Rooms are clean, hot water facilities are good. Staff are accommodating , friendly, and helpful. We have several issues which staff did their best to help with.

− We booked 4 rooms, including the suite room. We were told suite rooom us not available only when we came to check-in. Even though we had requested double beds, all rooms had twin beds. They were happy to give us different rooms and adjusted the price accordingly when we requested. Rooms had different facilities. Some had TV, and some didn't. There also was some dust. The new rooms with larger beds were interesting as they had a very hard part in between them effectively, making that part hard to sleep. The facilities in the room was also minimal or outdated.

As for the price. I think it's one of the best choice.As it is just at walking distance from Mahabodhi temple. -Check in - the recipient has good sense of his duty. And he asks only important questions which are important for boarding. -Staff- Good and always ready to help. -Cleanness - hotel is well managed and clean. Price- you can find many hotels at the price range of 1600-2000 but I think it is tuff to beat coz of its location and staff behaviour. Food- I haven't tried - parking is available here which is included in your boarding price

− Negative - it has a bank or bank office in front. Which result in faces looking at you when you are entering or leaving the hotel. - bathrom & toilet can be improved

− No lift facility. Steps were too high. It is difficult to climb the stairs for elderly people.

Довольно просторный номер. Расположение удобное для путешествия на автомобиле.

− Качество отеля оставляет желать лучшего. Не достаточно чисто. Белье, особенно полотенца не свежие. Горячей воды нет. Мы обращались с просьбой решить вопрос с водой, но единственное что смогла предложить нам сотрудники отеля - это большой кипятильник... Расположение отеля не очень удобное для тех, кто приехал в храм Махабодхи. Нам пришлось ездить на рикшах и это имело дополнительные расходы (пешком это довольно далеко) Мы воспользовались услугами прачечной, не удивительно, что белье нам принесли условно чистое. У нас был забронирован номер с завтраками. Но служащие отеля просто забыли об этом, а может быть и не знали... А зачем смотреть условия бронирования??? Если гости не напомнят, то можно и не шевелиться. Короче, завтракмдаои только после того, как мы его потребовали
