− Stairs were a bit challenging for our big suitcase but we managed it ok.
Enjoyable but little things could have made it so much better.
7.0The location is spectacular with amazing sunsets. The apartment is well furnished and equipped and warm. Although we didn’t need them there are plenty of heaters in apartment. You do not necessarily need a car as there is a bus stop opposite hotel and buses run regularly and until late into St Helier. Be aware this side of the island is very windy and although it didn’t bother us it could some people.
− One evening a company hired out the whole of the bar and restaurant area and we weren’t informed, so we were unable to even go into restaurant or bar or even marquee outside for food or drink. As we had arranged to meet our son and daughter in law it did cause us a problem. There was no apology from the manager even though he was in the bar when we complained to bar staff. They just needed to have informed us prior to the event so we were aware. It is a shame dogs are not allowed in the bar area (I understand not in restaurant or apartment). What was probably the reception area was a little messy with laundry bags in there all week and general untidiness.
