10.0Such a charming and unique stay - we won’t ever forget it! The rooms were designed beautifully, featuring creative and antique pieces. We were looked after very well by the friendly staff, especially Martin who took the time to show us around and share lots of information about the property and antiques. Location is amazing too - right by the water, so we had a lovely view from one of the rooms and the pool as well as the restaurant, and easy to explore Kochi from there.

10.0Everything was perfect and made so much better by the wonderfully attentive and pleasant staff We stayed in the Presidential Suite and felt like royalty The location was very central to everywhere Tuk tuk at the door Martin was so kind and allowed us to stay longer in the room because our flight didn’t leave till 6! We were so grateful for this extension of kindness The waterfront dining was fabulous You won’t be disappointed Thank you Martin and team for making our stay unforgettable Ros and Mario

10.0What a wonderful place to enjoy our 5 days in Kochi ! All of the staff including Martin were extremely affable and efficient with no request any bother at all ! The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices and superb service. The room itself was stunning with an exceptionally comfortable bed and luxurious toiletries. Location was in the heart of Jewtown so TUK TUK and taxi services were on our doorstep. Tours and activities were also arranged for us by the hotel which was an added bonus. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in if you are looking for a traditional experience ... we didn't want to leave !!

We came away with bedbugs
1.0The room was lovely. But coming away with bedbugs ruined our experience of staying at this hotel.
− I need to warn people about the risk of getting bedbugs here. We stayed in room 113 and were bitten by bedbugs. Despite our best efforts we did not manage to get rid of them through our trip in India and have now brought them home and need to pay a large amount of money for treatment. We informed Martin at the time and we asked for a discount of one night as compensation. He checked with the manager, who said they would not do this. Of course, really they should be paying for the full cost of the treatment. Based on the response, I did not feel that the management took us seriously and I don't think that they will be treating the room. So be aware, if you come away from this hotel with lines of three incredibly itchy bites, it will cost you and you will not get reimbursed! Also to note, this was the first hotel of our trip to India so it was definitely here that we picked them up. I have attached photos of the bites, taken at the time.
The staff made this hotel. Martin, the manager, couldn’t do enough for you. Perfect host.
